wonder: What I experience everyday with all five senses absolutely amazes me; there is beauty everywhere you turn if you’re open to it!
travel: I love to go solo…I meet really cool people and end up never being alone. I’ve found myself in backyard dinners in Belgium, staying the weekend with a family in England, and drinking beer at 9:00am with a Czech grandmother. You never know what will happen.
home sweet home: After renting most of my life, I bought a house for my kids and me about three years ago, and I’m slowly making it all us.
fashion: When I lived in Philadelphia in the early 2000’s I produced an annual design industry fashion show. The last year I did the on stage sound check while nursing my newborn in a baby sling I designed. Talk about field testing!
lighting: One of the most overlooked but important design elements. Great lighting makes a good space really great. And don’t get me started on color temperature.
yum: my favorite ice cream flavor is peanut butter cup, and my favorite food is an artichoke with hollandaise.
Haylee Studer
position: Interior Designer
education: Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University
persistence: My junior year of college at Drexel University, I approached Studio Paradis regarding an internship during the timeframe of my cooperative education program. Persistence was key when it came to achieving such an amazing opportunity. I interned here for 9 months, returned to college & graduated, then started working here full-time. It was a journey well worth it.
unique: I’m all about creating spaces that are unique, interesting, and exciting! My co-workers laugh, but I love a good print that includes animals.
east coast: I was born in New Jersey, raised in Virginia, went to college in Philadelphia, and now live in Connecticut.
home: When I’m not in the studio, I’m renovating my home with my husband, Noah. Whether it’s painting my bathroom emerald green, adding board & batten in my dining room, or wallpapering my laundry room with black & white dogs – I’m down for anything and love adding glimpses of us in our home!
canine: I have two rambunctious furry children that we rescued and absolutely adore.
cozy: My favorite thing to do is cozy up on the sofa with our pups, a cup of coffee, and the fire on.

position: Procurement and Design Manager
roots: Born and raised in the coastal hills of LA, I carry a deep love for its golden light, winding canyons, and the creative energy that seems to hum in the air. But adventure called, so I packed up, crossed the country, and built a new chapter on the East Coast. My kids have embraced it—one more than the other, but I’m still working on her. Change is constant, and reinvention is part of the journey.
twinning: Being a twin has shaped my ability to understand the nuances of connection, compromise, and competition. There’s a unique rhythm to growing up with someone who mirrors you in so many ways, yet is their own distinct person. It has given me a lifelong appreciation for deep bonds and shared experiences.
play: I started an app development company on a whim—driven by curiosity and a desire to create something innovative. It all began when my then-3-year-old became obsessed with my iPhone, sparking an idea that turned into a crazy-fun business.
sundays: As an avid eater and enthusiastic home cook, my perfect Sunday starts with a leisurely stroll through a farmers market, followed by a café break, and ends in the kitchen, cooking up our spoils with a glass of wine in hand—always savoring something salty over sweet.
happy places: Museums are my happy place. There’s something about standing in front of a thought-provoking piece that resets my perspective. I also have a deep love for dark, cozy restaurants and beautifully designed spaces—places where ambiance and artistry converge.
explore: Every opportunity to explore the world is one I take, and my kids are the best travel partners—always up for an adventure, always expanding my perspective. They are my greatest teachers, while also reminding me that I’m not nearly as cool as I think I am.
under construction: I find something oddly intoxicating about a construction site—the scent of fresh paint and wood dust, the raw potential of a space being transformed, and the orchestration of chaos into beauty. There’s something deeply satisfying about watching a project evolve from blueprint to reality.

position: Studio mascot, greeter
sun: I typically spend my days shifting my napping places with the sun shining through the studio windows.
treats: Everyday my friend Mike shares his lunch with me; meatloaf day is my favorite.
goodnight: When I go to bed, I love to be fully covered with my favorite quilt so just my nose is sticking out.
